Delays, shortages and doors to manual
The global pandemic has caused major supply chain problems. There are delays, shortages and significant price hikes in raw materials.
As we’ve learned from several clients and our own anecdotal information, it’s across the board from building and construction materials to microelectronics.
We are grateful that Beyond has been spared these problems. Whilst not booming, business has been steady throughout the pandemic. Other than the dearth of face-to-face meetings (and we do miss them), frankly it’s been business as usual.
It’s no surprise that we’ve seen a huge shift in the type of work we’ve been doing. Online engagement has taken over from face-to-face, expos etc. So, most of our work hits on the online experience. Websites, e-commerce, videos, social media graphics and content have all come to the fore. We’ve probably not printed a business card for 18 months!
Until now.
We are starting to help our clients prepare for the better days ahead. Albeit cautiously, soon we will see the return of a lot more face-to-face experience.
Doors to manual
Speaking of which, from 19th July, Beyond opens its doors again for visitors and meetings. Cautiously though, with windows open and lashings of sanitiser. If you’d like a chat, come and share the smell of the coffee, the freshly baked bread, and have a slice of Moroccan toast with us. Get in touch.
It’s been a tough time for the human spirit. We, and probably you have had bereavement, and anxiety and grief within our families and circles of friends, as well as business concerns.
It has been a heavy load and we all look forward to much better times ahead.
